intersections: here and there (2024)

This exchange of visual dialogue is an invitation to look closely at the horrors of displacement, the beauty of tradition, and the spirit of resilience. Stepping away from sensationalism, we move from point to point without warning, weaving together archival footage and present-day, exploring the relationships we hold with one another and our homelands.

We seek to preserve this exchange by juxtaposing past and present, here and there. This piece includes footage of present-day Palestine provided by Palestinian filmmaker, Hamed Sbeata.
